I know there are more ps3 sold than 360 in Europe as a whole. But in the UK the 360 still has quite the sizable lead on the ps3

I say that because when you take a look at the game's trophy list, one of the is called the "socialite" trophy.
The socialite trophy is achieved when you along with 3 other people NOT on your friends list create and level.
That trophy right there tells you online create mode is there.
So I think the feature will be in the game at the start. Not something patched into an update like the forum says

To ALLOW your child to drop out of school for a videogame. If this kid turns out to be stupid (if he's not already) then I blame the parents. I can't believe the sad state of affairs our society is in to even have something like this be possible.

I think (not facts) that they are looking to HOME to rapidly build LBP's community. If you looked at LBP's trophies, you can see that people HAVE to socialize. And some of the trophies require you to socialize with people NOT in your friends list. So I guess the idea is to meet people in HOME thereby expanding on LBP's playability (which is already infinite)
But they REALLY stepped up their game this time. I still can't believe I'm buying this game when it comes out. But that demo really did it for me.
Guess that goes to show that any developer is only as good (or not good) as their next game

I don't need to "convince" myself of anything. That's the beauty of having multiple consoles child. YOU, however, are trying to convince yourself that an old game is going to sell like a brand spanking new game a full year later.
They're so "non-existent" that they help outsell the system that costs less (the 360) on a daily basis.

The 360 version got about 48,000 in the first WEEK
So despite it being an old IP, that should tell you that if the ps3 version was out at the SAME time as the 360 version, the 360 version would have gotten smoked
